ECRIS in most of the EU countries

About a year and an half after the beginning of its development, the ECRIS - European Criminal Records Information System, becomes available in most of the EU countries.

ECRIS is a project from the Directorate-General for Justice (European Commission). The system facilitates criminal record exchanges within European Union countries. The same was built based on a SOA - Service Oriented Architecture. The project included the development of a web application (reference implementation for European countries) that extensively used the GWT - Google Web Toolkit.

Linkare participated in this project on its "Quality Assurance" component.
